Happy Mother’s Day to all who write!
Always remember that the writer is the ultimate mother.
Why?
We are writing the story and the system of matriarchy — we are enshrining a belief and narrative that others will follow!
We are the mothers who are rewriting the patriarchal stories in order to free the other kinds of mothers, of which there are many kinds.
The Mother is the storyteller of our origins.
We’re in charge. It starts with us.
The writers. Birthing stories that hold the world together.
Peace and aloha,
Stephanie
P.S. This is the pua male or Stephanotis Floribund (origin close to my name Stephanie) and is known as the Hawaiian Wedding flower, but is originally a jasmine flower from Madagascar. Varietals have been found all over the world.
